Meet Tora Inu (also written as Tora-ken), the traditional Japanese nickname for the Kai Ken (甲斐犬) — one of Japan's six native Nihon Ken breeds, born in the rugged mountains near Mount Fuji.
The name "Tora Inu" means "Tiger Dog" and comes from its striking brindle coat: black tiger-like stripes over red, medium, or black fur (aka-tora, chu-tora, and kuro-tora). Agile, courageous, and deeply loyal to its family, the Tora Inu was historically trusted to hunt deer, boar, and even bear on steep terrain.
Extremely rare even in Japan, this wolfish, double-coated spitz remains one of the purest Nihon Ken lines. Our $TORA token celebrates the Tora Inu’s spirit of loyalty, courage, and unstoppable drive in the crypto wilds.
